Chemical Weapons and Drug Precursors
For many years CBA and CIA have cooperated with the UK government to help prevent drug and chemical weapon precursors from being diverted into illicit uses. This has a very high priority and the voluntary Code of Conduct has been updated and strengthened, following events in 2005, to encompass all chemicals not just those covered by specified legislation. CBA has committed to the Government that the CEO of every member company will sign the Code of Conduct and put in place a nominated person to oversee the process.
