CBA Annual Lunch - 28/04/2010 to 28/04/2010
Known to many as Floggers, the CBA Annual Lunch is booked for 28th April 2010 at The Grosvenor, Park Lane, London.
Feedback suggests that for many companies in 2009 this is the main social event that they still chose to attend in otherwise austere times. With the intent of again offering entertaining social networking within the UK chemical industry, the guest speaker for the 2010 event is Phil Hammond:
Qualified as a doctor, he was half of Struck Off and Die, who had five sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, In 2002, Phil fronted 28 Minutes to Save the NHS on Radio 4, and extended to a highly successful 60-date UK tour 89 Minutes to Save the NHS.
Phil has written Private Eye’s medical column, 'Doing the Rounds', since 1992,he broke the story of the Bristol heart scandal, and presented five series of "Trust Me, I’m a Doctor" on BBC 2, exposing wide variations in care across the NHS.
