How do I join?

Membership of CBA is corporate, private individuals are not entitled to join. Applications for membership must be proposed and seconded by current full members of CBA and are subject to review and approval by the Council of the Association.

Full Membership

Full membership is open to all companies who manufacture, distribute or trade in chemicals and allied products, provided they have a registered office in the United Kingdom.

Associate Membership

Associate members are companies providing transport, warehousing, storage or related services to the chemical industry, or businesses for which chemicals are a subsidiary activity but they nevertheless closely identify with CBA's aims and objectives.

Associate members have access to all CBA's facilities and services and can serve on CBA's policy Committees. Associate representatives are part of the CBA Council and have full voting rights at Annual General Meetings.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate members provide support services e.g. insurance, legal or packaging but do not handle, store, transport or handle chemicals.
