CBA Logistics Index
The CBA Logistics Index for 2009 is based on returns from 20 haulage, warehousing and tank farm companies employing 2614 people. Together, they made nearly seven hundred thousand journeys to transport more than 6 million tonnes of chemicals.
Issued under the auspices of its Responsible Care programme, the Logistics Indexcovers CBA’s member companies engaged in chemical road haulage, warehousing and tank farms operations. The Index contains aggregate annual data on measures such as transport incidents, lost time accidents and enforcement actions taken by the regulatory authorities.
