Johnson Matthey signs five-year contract with Potter Group Logistics

Global speciality chemicals company Johnson Matthey has signed a five-year agreement with Potter Group Logistics to occupy 50,000ft² of storage and distribution space at the Group’s Ripon distribution centre. The Group’s long experience in handling highly specialised products and in dealing with chemicals was a vital factor in the decision. The Group is investing around £2 million in the project and infrastructure including new Flexi trucks, and the facility will have its own dedicated entrance and access separate from other buildings on site.
Multisol Group Awarded the 2011 ESIG Product Stewardship Award

Multisol Group have been awarded the 2011 Product Stewardship Award by ESIG, the European Solvents Industry Group. The award was accepted by Chief Operating Officer Andrew Wilkins at Cefic’s European Responsible Care conference on 22 September, in Brussels.
KTP project at Cornelius graded as Outstanding

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between the Hertfordshire based chemical distribution and manufacturing company Cornelius Group plc and Anglia Ruskin University has been awarded the highest grade of "Outstanding" by the KTP Grading Panel for its achievement in meeting its objectives.

Univar named official distributor of GE water treatment products for Italy and Southern Europe

Brussels, Belgium – 6th December 2010 – Univar, a leading global chemical distributor, announced today that it has signed an agreement with GE Water & Process Technologies to become the company’s official distributor of their water treatment products, starting initially in Italy and Southern Europe, but planned to extend throughout Europe.
