The recent history of attacks, both attempted and actual, on sites across Europe has raised awareness of vulnerabilities. The need for proportionate security measures on sites handling chemicals is now demonstrably essential.

Terrorists are becoming more ingenious in exploiting vulnerabilities and are looking for opportunities to obtain access to chemicals and chemical handling sites to further their aims and objectives.

CBA is acknowledged as an international ‘thought leader’ in the chemical security space and this event will form the continuation of a series of domestic events to raise awareness along the UK chemicals supply chain.
