Transportation Consultation

The Chemical Business Association is now taking much more active role in promoting careers in the chemical supply chain and as part of this, our CEO Tim Doggett sits on the Employment Action Group of Logistics UK.

We would like to bring to your attention that the Department for Transport have launched a new taskforce – the Transport Labour Market and Skills Team who will lead on promoting careers in logistics. They will be led by Rachel Skinner CBE who will be working alongside a representative group of industry leaders from across the transport sector.

They have launched a consultation on Transport labour market and skills to consider the barriers and opportunities to developing skills and careers across the transport sector which you can find here; Transport labour market and skills – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

The consultation will close on the 9^th May 2022 and should you participate, we would appreciate if you could share your submission with ourselves.
