Stort Chemicals Limited is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of Zanos Limited on 5th October 2020 to reinforce their position as one of the most successful family owned speciality chemical distribution companies in the UK.

Julian Sarkar, Founder of Zanos Ltd, said ‘Stort Chemicals is the ideal fit to continue the development of the business built up over the last 20 years. Finally, Kendrick Gilkes, Founding Director and Executive Chairman of Stort Chemicals said, ‘I first met Julian in 1987 when he was working for Henkel and I had recently started Stort Chemicals. Zanos Ltd will continue to work from their Knutsford, Cheshire HQ for at least the next 6-12 months. Julian Sarkar will be working closely as part of the Stort team in the role of Consultant for a minimum of 2 years to ensure a smooth transition.
