The session will explain what the course covers, who it is for, and why building credible carbon accounting capability is becoming increasingly important for businesses and professionals across the chemical sector.

Attendees will learn how the five-day course helps participants build practical confidence across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, product carbon footprinting, project-level carbon accounting, reporting, assurance and credible communication. The course is aligned with ISEP Associate-level competencies and covers key frameworks including the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 14067 and PAS 2080. Participants can gain a place on the Carbon Accounting Professional register at the Technical Associate level.

The webinar will also cover the route to professional recognition through the emerging ISEP Carbon Accountant Register, and explain why now is a valuable time to build this capability.
