Our Industry Ambassadors workshop is delivered in collaboration with STEM Learning UK and Cogent Skills, allowing Ambassadors to access a broader range of resources and opportunities, enabling them to provide high-quality outreach activities to the next generation.

Ambassadors have access to a wide range of resources to deliver the best careers outreach activities to the next generation.

  • BUILD your confidence and your network

Delegates will be given resources in a ready to use package including Pupil Worksheets and Resource Cards, an in-depth Ambassador Guide and Interactive PowerPoint with everything needed for the encounter.

The training is an interactive session delivered over half a day which will enable you to:

  • Practice delivering activities with constructive feedback to build confidence
  • Learn how to work with and inspire young people
  • Tailor careers outreach to suit different ages, abilities, and timings
  • Familiarise yourself with the resources
  • Network and share experiences

The pack focuses on careers in the science industries, showcasing the breadth of careers and different entry routes. It also links to the science curriculum and current scientific issues affecting our society including sustainability, climate change, antibiotic resistance, and plastic usage, making it relatable for young people.

This free of charge event is only open to Chemical Business Association members.

If you wish to attend a short networking lunch prior to the event, please arrive for 11:30.
