CBA CHAIRMAN’S CHARITY
The cancellation of this year’s Annual Lunch meant that CBA member companies ere denied the opportunity to support my chosen charity – the Alzheimer’s Society.
I hope to make up for this by running, as part of an Alzheimer’s Team, in the Paris Marathon in October 2020.
This letter asks your company to sponsor my run and to support the valuable work of the Alzheimer’s Society by way of a voluntary donation.
You can do this by clicking here.
The Alzheimer’s Society is the only charity that funds dementia research to try find a cure and improve people’s lives. In the UK, over 200,000 people will develop dementia this year, that’s one every three minutes. Globally, an estimated 54 million people are living with dementia.
There is currently no known cure.
Click here for a two-minute video that tells you about the work of the Society. And on a slightly lighter note click here for a short video in which youngsters interview people with dementia.
I hope you feel able to donate to help me to support this very worthy cause. Thank you.
Regards
Darren Budd
