The five-year gap between DGSA requalification’s and the fact that most people only use very specific provisions on a day-to-day basis often means that candidates are less prepared than they would like.
To aid those considering requalification, the Chemical Business Association has designed a two-day workshop to update and refresh all aspects of the ADR chapters and provide specific exam guidance and question practice.
The exam is an ‘open book’ format and so all the information necessary is at the candidate’s fingertips. However, candidates also need to understand ‘how to apply the knowledge’, ‘what the markers will be looking for’ and ‘how to reference the answers’

Ukraine REACH

On 26 January 2025, the "Technical Regulation for the Safety of Chemical Products" (Ukraine REACH) came into force. This regulation adopts key principles of the European REACH Regulation, advancing Ukraine’s alignment with the European Union's regulatory framework.
Ukraine REACH mandates that companies (legal entities) manufacturing or importing substances into Ukraine at quantities of ≥1 tonne per year must pre-register and, eventually, register these substances with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

Code of Conduct Workshop

The CBA code of conduct has been in place since the early 1990s to assist members with their compliance and trade controls. A major update to The Code of Conduct will be published in September 2023. This workshop is designed to refresh existing compliance officers or introduce the legal requirements for new compliance officers.
The seminar will explain the code and provide the detail to guide participants through their obligations and requirements of the legislation. It will be particularly useful to Liaison Officers and those specifically responsible for performing COC risk assessments.
