Alcohols Limited supplies chemical solvents, hydrocarbons and services including distillation of gin and vodka for private label and branded customers. Formed in 1955, the company is a member of the family-owned Palmer Group. Its head office is located in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, and it has storage and distribution sites in London and the West Midlands locations which hold ISO 9002 accreditation and which are currently working towards the standard for environmental management systems, ISO 14001. The company supplies a wide range of industries: toiletries and cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, contract packing, cleaning, surface coatings and chemical manufacturing. The company also operates the last independent gin distillery in the United Kingdom.
