Launch into Life Sciences Strengthens Speciality Offering

Airedale Group has sharpened its focus on offering a greater range of speciality chemicals with the creation of its Life Science and Surfactants division.
With almost 40 products in the portfolio, essential to personal care, cosmetics and HI&I cleaning, it cements the group’s position as a supplier of specialist chemical products to niche markets.
Director of Life Science and Surfactants, Mark Wolff, explains: “We have a strong history of supplying to the detergency market and having identified a number of areas we could also offer speciality products and added value services to new and existing customers in the life sciences, we created a dedicated division solely for this growing area of industry.
“We have now expanded our offering to include more specialist chemicals from surfactants and silicone fluids to phosphonates and chelates.”
The division has a devoted sales team which includes six decades of experience in the life science sectors and almost 100 customers from around the UK and Europe.
Life Science and Surfactants sits alongside two further Airedale Group specialist divisions: Food and Beverage and Metal Surface Treatment. Together they signal are move into more high-value solutions and formulation chemistry for the company.
Mark added: “We’re excited to see how this division grows and becomes the go-to, one-stop-shop for life sciences for the UK.”
