Multisol’s depot in Irlam, Manchester is celebrating a significant Health & Safety landmark after achieving five years without a lost work day accident (LWDA).

The milestone marks yet another major accomplishment for the Multisol UK being a market leader in the formulation, blending and distribution of high value fuel and lubricant additives, base oils and speciality chemicals. Its custom-built facility in Irlam includes advanced manufacturing, blending, packaging and storage facilities and laboratory.

The site also undertakes toll processing, blend & contract pack formulations to strict customer specifications. With multi-functional equipment across the site, Multisol UK is able to tailor services to safely handle an array of materials; ranging from highly flammable solvent mixtures, to viscous oil additives that require elevated temperature operations.

“This is tribute to the Site Management led by Darren Copson in maintaining the focus on safety whilst raising awareness in all day-to-day activities,” explains Group Operations Director, Richard Hands. “Congratulations and thanks go to all the team at Irlam, both in the offices and out on the plant, as well as Andy Beck and Gemma Moon of the Safety team for supporting the Irlam team in this fantastic achievement.”
