Carbon Literacy is “An awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

The course will provide insight to help individuals and companies make informed choices to reduce their carbon impact.

To complete this course and become certified as Carbon Literate you will need to attend all four sessions.

14th / 21st November 14:30 – 16:30
18th/ 25th November 10.00 – 12.00

An example of attendee feedback was:
‘I found the course very interesting, and it showed the CO2 benefit of relatively simple changes we can all make in our everyday life!’

The course will be presented by Tony Heslop, Senior Sustainability Manager at BASF. He is a Carbon Literacy Project approved trainer and has delivered the course to hundreds of BASF employees, customers and stakeholders.

The training has been certified by the Carbon Literacy Project and each delegate on successful completion of the training will be certified as Carbon Literate. They will then be able to roll out Carbon Literacy to their organisation.
