The CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) regulation is based on the United Nations Globally Harmonised System (GHS) and is a system for determining hazards and communicating them.

This workshop is aimed at providing an awareness of the structure of the CLP Regulation ((EC) No 1272/2008) and how it relates to GHS, describe the classification system, the hazard communication elements,and demonstrate how CLP-compliant labels are produced.

The workshop is designed to provide a basic level insight or a refresher for personnel requiring a basic knowledge of chemical handling – including laboratory staff, warehousing personnel, COSHH assessors and any personnel working with chemicals as part of their role.
