Faced with a crisis in the economic sector, the UK government has stepped in to provide relief from the rising costs of energy. The second iteration of government assistance, the Energy Bill Discount Scheme was launched in April to provide discounts on energy bills for eligible non-domestic customers in Great Britain. The new scheme also offers non-domestic customers operating primarily in sectors identified by the government as the most energy and trade-intensive with a higher level of discount. Businesses that are eligible for the ETII discount need to apply for the additional award in order to benefit.
