Do you work in a manufacturing company? Do you design, install or maintain Safety Instrumented Systems? Then this workshop will be of interest.
The training will cover:

▪ Management activities including verification, validation, audit, and functional safety assessment.
Why attend?
Functional safety relates to the use of safety instrumented systems which protect against an undesired consequence to people, the environment, or the business Some of the safety instrumented systems will require a safety integrity level (SIL) and managing in accordance with industry standards such as BS EN 61508 and BS EN 61511 The reasoning for the safety integrity level specified for safety instrumented systems should be rigorous and documented. From the design through to commissioning and maintenance, including testing, the guidance is prescriptive and managers should be aware of the requirements placed on them in relation to such systems.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at personnel from manufacturing companies who may be involved in managing activities and/or procuring services related to the design, installation, testing and maintenance of Safety Instrumented Systems Site Leaders, Operational and Engineering Managers, Process Safety and Engineering Personnel, Health and Safety Professionals, Competence Management and Training Professionals would benefit from attending.
