In an attempt to halt the spread of the virus the UK government has implemented strict measures such including the forced closure of specific businesses, grants to aid business (large and small) and a ‘Furlough scheme’ to allow staff to be retained with the government paying businesses to keep staff employed rather than making them redundant.
