The EU Regulation 1907/2006/EC otherwise known as “REACH” will be ‘copied across’ into UK law upon “No Deal” exit. The UK preparations are underway and a series of technical notices have been issued to explain the new UK system in the event of a no-deal exit.

Companies that do not currently have any obligations under EU REACH may find that they will, depending on the nature of exit, become responsible for managing their chemical portfolio with the UK REACH system so need to be prepared beforehand.

CBA ran this workshop in early February 2019 and following the feedback from the participants, who found the event very useful, have decided to re-run the event again.

I very nearly overlooked CBA’s REACH REFRESHER course, as we’re not registered under REACH, at the moment. But after Brexit, we’re going to have to manage ‘UK REACH’.

All CBA members should attend this course, in preparing for BREXIT. It’s an excellent review of where we are, now and where we may be heading.
