Selling Chemicals Responsibly Poison Act Update 2023

The Poisons Act 1972 regulates the sale of listed substances to the public and puts a legal obligation on the retailer to report any suspicious sale or significant loss or theft of the substance.

The Home Office and Counter-Terrorism Policing will present an overview of the Poisons Act, changes in the legislation that will come into force later this year and case studies of how suspicious activity reports help fight crime and terrorism.
